Having wet fun at the 'Horror Falls'...

...they just landed in a big splash after hitting the water channel coming down a steep slope in a sort of kanoo boat. This you can experience at the Superland fun park near the city of Rishon LeZion.
Hundreds of people were there and having fun with their children in the midst of the school holiday for the jewish Feast of Tabernacles or Succoth.
We were there for some 8 + hours... and got also wet while doing this crazy horror fall thing...

Well, the Waldorf is still there, completely unchanged--even from the '50s, so far as I know--at least on the outside. I drove right past it over the weekend.

As for Brooklyn, it's getting trendy now. Along with the Hasidim and the Jamaicans (two different kinds of payess, as it were), there are now the yuppies and the artists and everyone else. Brooklyn is "cool." Who'da thunk it?
