Hi Wally!
Gorgeous Photo! Such beautiful color, and the amazement of Nature's Geometry! Hope your week goes well! take care
Aye up Wal,I could just tuck in to these seeds they look good enough to eat,I'll have some in my cereal please.
I have only been to Lancs once and then only to get the ferry to the I sle of Man.but the pictures I have seen are very simolat stone cottages, most of them are now holiday cottages to rent nowadays.
Really all of England i beautiful, miles and miles of green fields.
It is cooler now ,temp's down to about 18c,more like our summer.
Have a good day.
All the best
Nice quotation, and a beautiful macro, like a sunburst.
Re: I'm not sure what makes a beach a good "glass" beach. Maybe the presence of beverage-swilling fishermen or the vagaries of time and currents. Certainly the harsh sands and rocky beaches in the San Juans help to grind and etch the glass that happens to tumble into their clutches. My cousin is lucky, too, to have some of her own beachfront to patrol there. In storms, all kinds of things wash up--from telephone poles to fishermen's floats.
Be well and enjoy the week, Paul

The drawing won't stay long. It was only done with chalk and will wash away with the first rain.
My best to you!
