Eat your heart out Pisa you have a rival; this is the Prince Albert Tower (Yes named after that appalling gadabout who spent his life eating, drinking and servicing the dwarf Mother of the Empire)… seems it was built on dodgy ground and began to tilt a few years after its erection but breathe a sigh of relief folks; recently the good people of Belfast spent millions of quids of their taxes having it underpinned… aint that a relief?

it would have been a great foto op if it started to fall and shatter.
FEMA is the useless federal agency that was supposed to help out when Katrina destroyed New Orleans but instead acted too slow and acted ineffectually.
Trailers given to the homeless by FEMA have 10 times the amount of allowable indoor formaldehyde.

thanx for asking. well you see, the jews or the people of israel are the chosen people of the almighty god, right? and god promised them the holy land, eretz israel - the land of israel, right?
ok since 1948 when the state of israel was founded millions of jews have come home from the diaspora where they have been brought to after the destruction of the second temple in jerusalem at 70 CE. jews have always been living there, even though it was only in small numbers.
in the meantime the land was ruled by crusaders, mameluks and who else.
so 1967 in the 6daywar, israel conquered the so called west jordan area (judea and samaria) from the jordanians and soon afterward started building jewish settlement towns there. arabs are living there still, but they are muslims. jews cant be muslims... and of course the arabs also have businessmen as have the jews. but since 1948 the jewish state - israel - is a flower in the desert, high tech is a very big part of the industry here. there is much more to say,. but thats it in a small nut shell. i would happily tell you more.
