I love your photo because it brings me memories of Christmas in Germany. I was there at Christmas of 2004, visiting some Chilean friends of mine who live near Koln. There are such beautiful traditions and the Weihnachtsmarkt is one of them. Unfortunately, I got there too late to really see much of it. I guess I'll have to go back.

I loved looking at the turning as a child at K. Oma's... then my wish was to have one too as a teen, got one and now got two with the one from Oma and do not like them any more because of their painting... it is more Made in China than Erzgebirge... by the way... do you have one!? ;D
Yep, the new toy arrived on Wednesday... I am a bit trist because it is more adult looking than our white one but I'll overcome! :)))
