American band INTERPOL sympathise with their British rock rivals EDITORS, because it's proving impossible to escape their shadow. The British four-piece formed in 2003 - five years after Interpol stamped their mark on the music scene across the Atlantic - and have struggled to convince critics of their originality. However, Interpol drummer understands their plight. He says, "Why I feel sorry for them is that we put out our first album Turn on the Bright Lights and we're f**king Joy Division reincarnated, and then the Editors appear and they're the British Interpol. "Just leave them alone and leave us alone. If indeed they have influence from us I think that's flattering."

siempre que leo entrevistas de los integrantes de interpol..siempre dicen algo
que me hace amarlos mas. ademas the editors son re buena banda.
